childcare funding & fees
15 & 30 hours of funded childcare per week over 38 weeks per annum
The government and local authorities offer funding to eligible families to support childcare costs.
We offer the following choices to parents:
* 30 hours fully funded, term time only (38 weeks pa) – no extra charges for consumables,
delivered at specific times each term-time week
* 15 hours fully funded, term time only (38 weeks pa) – no extra charges for consumables,
delivered at specific times each term-time week
* paid service includes the stretched funding over 50 weeks per annum - delivered over 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week.
This offer is all inclusive – no extra charges for consumables
* paid service includes funding stretched over fewer weeks if funding eligibility starts mid-year and full 38 weeks of funding cannot be claimed (pro-rata calculations apply, depending on the number of weeks of funding are left and months of attendance).
* fully paid service where parents are not eligible for funding.
Our all-inclusive DAILY FEES, payable monthly, vary between £28-£98 depending on your funding eligibility, your child's age and attendance pattern.
Term time only option of 15 or 30 fully funded hours per week is free at the point of delivery - no extra charges apply.

9 month old babies & 2 year olds
Am I eligible?
To be able to take up 15 hours of government funded early education for your 9 month old baby or a two-year-old, you must meet the eligibility criteria. The funding is extended to 30 hours per week to eligible working parents of children from the age of 9 months. Please visit https://beststartinlife.gov.uk/ for further information.

At Sutherland Day Nursery we accept funding for babies from the age of 9 months and currently have some limited spaces available.

Am I eligible?
15 hours of funded childcare is available to all qualifying families in England. Working parents of children from the age of 9 months will be eligible to 30 hour funding, subject to the government set criteria.

If you, or your partner, are on maternity, paternity or adoption leave, or you're unable to work because you are disabled or have caring responsibilities, you could still be eligible. We may have limited spaces available.
When can my child start?
Your child can start in their childcare place the term after they turn 9 months old to be eligible to 30 hour funding, and once you have received a valid 30 hours code.
Terms start in September (autumn), January (spring) and April (summer).
To keep your 30 hours free childcare place you need to check your details are up-to-date every term.
